Welcome,

I’m Arthur Fairchild, and every week I will be covering a new film that just hit cinemas. I grew up with a love for movies watching classics with my dad like “Gone with the Wind” and “The God Father”. A little later in life in high school I worked for a nationally ranked media program called KCBY-TV. We would create weekly news style segments highlighting events and stories happening all over the Dallas area. Working on these stories I learned what it meant to be behind the camera and what it took to be in front. I also learned the importance of hard work and dedication when it comes to the television scene. Many people believe that being a part of films, in front and behind the camera, is easy. With my experience, this has proven to be not true. With these blogs I hope to expand my knowledge on the current state of cinema and share my thoughts to anyone who might find them valuable. As of right now the movies are in a strange place maximizing on remakes and sequels and being minimal on true directorial creativity and original ideas. Throughout these blog posts I will only be reviewing films with original ideas and not remakes.
